Royal Ascot has great teaching facilities, playing from turf all year round the practice ground has a distinct advantage over traditional driving ranges. The range is 280 yards long and has an excellent practice bunker, pitching area and putting green. Whether you are an accomplished golfer wanting to hone your skills or just starting out, Ali offers simple, easy to understand instruction tailored to the individual player’s needs and delivers top advice on technique and importantly, course management to players of all standards.
We also run The Golf Academy Scheme for those players wanting to take up the game for the first time or players wanting to hone their skills with the added benefit of becoming a social member of the club.
Our Golf Academy Scheme offers the opportunity of developing your skills through a personalised structured programme tailored to the needs of the individual player. The programme includes Social Membership of Royal Ascot Golf Club and those awarded a Golf Pass Certificate will be guaranteed entry into playing membership.
We offer the choice of two Academy types:
• Beginners’ Academy designed to provide potential new golfers with the most comprehensive introduction to the game, and is aimed at
those who wish to learn to play golf.
• Intermediate Academy designed for those golfers who have some experience of playing golf but who are not yet confident to join a member’s club. It is aimed at those who wish to improve their game.

Golf Tuition
Playing from turf all year round, the practice ground at Royal Ascot has a distinct advantage over traditional driving ranges. The range is 280 yards long and has an excellent practice bunker, pitching area and putting green. Range balls are available from the pro shop at £2 per bucket (30 balls), the ideal way to loosen up before hitting the course.
