Corona Virus (Covid-19)
Dear Member & Visitor
We are acutely aware of the constant stream of Government advice and updates that seems to form part of everyday life for us all now. You can rest assured the Directors and management are keeping up to date with the media and also via our professional advisors and other Golf Clubs facing the same issues.
Following a meeting of the Club's Board of Directors today the decisions below have been made to protect members, our staff and any visitors, but also ensures we continue to provide the golf course for your ongoing enjoyment, exercise and wellbeing in these difficult times.
1. The bar along with the restaurant facility and kitchen will be closed from tomorrow that is Wednesday 18th March 2020. Members and visitors will no longer have access to that area and there will be no access through the front door of the Clubhouse until further notice.
2. The Pro shop will be accessible through the rear Pro shop door only and Robert Daw our Professional will be operating as normal.
3. The office will be available for information and advice, but you should make contact by email or phone wherever possible.
4. Playing golf will continue. Club Captain John Bray has issued some guidance to members on both social and competition golf. This will include recommendations on sensible precautions that should be taken to ensure that we all stay safe on the course.
Changing rooms and toilets will be accessible to all through the rear doors only.
We continue to monitor and review the situation daily and will issue updates as necessary.
All of our decisions and actions are to ensure you continue to stay healthy and make the most of your membership or visit at RAGC.
