Our Golf Academy Scheme caters for players looking to take up the game or existing players wanting to hone their skills. This scheme provides a personalised programme tailored to the needs of the individual player and includes Social Membership of Royal Ascot Golf Club. Participants awarded a Golf Pass Certificate will be guaranteed entry into playing membership.
Royal ascot academy membership
The Royal Ascot academy is our entry level membership package aimed for those who are new to the game or not yet at a standard to obtain an official club handicap.
Included in your academy membership is all of the below:
- 12 x 30 Minute Lesson Vouchers
- 6 x 1 Hour Group Sessions
- Social Membership of the club
- 10 x 9 Hole Green Fee Vouchers
- One Driving Range Token per day
- Discounted lessons & green fees if required beyond the above
- An introduction to the club 'buddy' system to help with integration into the club & establishing a handicap long term
- Quarterly golf events where you will have the opportunity to play with members from the club in a fun & social environment.
The academy membership will come with a one off annual fee of £550 with the aim of getting you to a suitable standard within that year to be able to move on to full membership of the club. There will be the option to extend your academy membership for a further 12 months should that be necessary to enable you to reach the required standard to obtain a handicap. At the end of the year's membership a playing ability assessment will be conducted to determine the appropriate next step for each individual. An academy member may apply for membership at any time once required level of ability has been achieved.

Individual Lessons
Robert also offers individual lessons for members & visitors covering all aspects of the game. Whether you're looking for longer drives or a more deft touch on the putting green Robert will be able to help improve your technique & help to lower your scores.
Lesson prices are as below:
30 Minute Lesson - £35
60 Minute Lesson - £65
Robert also offers 6 lessons for the price of 5 on both 30 & 60 minute lessons.
Robert also offers the opportunity to accompany you on the golf course for a 9 hole playing assessment. During this all areas of the game will be looked at & course management discussed with the idea that a package of lessons can then be built around the areas identified during the assessment.
9 Hole Playing Assessment - £80
